Cannibalism :(

You know what cannibalism is? It is the act of one human eating another human. You might think nobody would do that no-matter what happens. Well, Al Packer was a psychotic man who ate five of his companions. Him and five other friends went on a gold mining expedition. I suppose he was starving at the time so he sneaked upon his friends, cut them up and ate them one by one. When he got back he had gained so much weight and none of his friends had come back so people became suspicious. On March 16, 1883 he wrote a confession, and his trial began April, 6 in Lake City, Colorado. In the end he died Jefferson County, Colorado in jail.
You think this is a legend made to scare little children, right? Wrong, because this is a completely true story. To prove it I am going to show you one of Packer's quotes; "the breast of man...are the sweetest meat I ever tasted." In 1980, Jim Robertson and a poet named Burton Raffel, made a movie about his story called, "The Legend of Alfred Packer".
Scary, right? More like disgusting. Who would cut up and eat their own friends no matter how hungry they are? I think I would rather die of starvation than eat my friends. Plus, there were only seven Democrats in the county at that time according, and he reduced them to two. Those other two are lucky they didn't go on the expedition with him. I think he deserved what he got and more. By the way, did you know that cannibalism means the act of one human eating another one? Just an interesting fact!
